Uralita, URSA’s parent company, is a Spanish construction materials multinational enterprise with 100 years of history. It is the leader in its markets and sectors of operation.

Uralita's strategic business are Insulation (URSA), Gypsum, Roof Tiles and Pipes, holding leading positions in Spain and Portugal in the construction materials sector and being the third largest manufacturer of insulation materials in Europe.

With 38 operating production plants and 6 under construction, sales in 2007 reached €1.1 billion, of which 53% were outside of Spain. The total workforce at 31 December, 2007 was some 4,000 employees.
