URSA – the BrandFollowing the acquisition of the German insulation concern Pfleiderer Dämmstofftechnik, URSA was adopted as an umbrella brand for Uralita’s insulation materials division as a result of the company’s pursuit for a coherent brand strategy and to serve as a basis for an international and uniform corporate identity. The logo for the URSA product brand was first launched in 1994, with the original word being replaced by a stylised pair of bears. Right from the start, the brand was given both a powerful emotional association and a close link to the subject of insulation materials.
The basis for developing in the direction of the new corporate brand was created with the adoption of a corporate identity and the ensuing corporate image which present URSA nowadays as a modern, dynamic and dialogue-receptive company. Charisma, warmth, capability, and reliability constitute the basic values which are expressed by the visual identity conveyed by URSA. The suffix “Grupo Uralita” ties the brand in with an international group of companies and the related resources and potentials.
